Graduates should be able to use various forms of technology in their interactions with students and in their own professional development.  Specifically, students should be able to:

  • utilize communication tools such as electronic mail, video conferencing, and/or designing web pages;
  • use research tools such as electronic data bases, world wide web searching, and other on-line sources;
  • use multi-media in making presentations before professional audiences.

Annotated Webliography

During the legal issues class, I learned how to create a webpage that consisted of text and links to other web pages.  My webpage was an annotated bibliography of legal issues related to student affairs.  This webpage has served as a useful reference tool for several of my other class assignments.  Click here to view the annotated webliography.

Powerpoint Presentation with Multi-Media

My graduate classes have provided me with plenty of opportunities to create PowerPoint presentations with multimedia such as live-streaming videos.  The presentation I made with a classmate about Bipolar disorder is one of many presentations that I have put together which utilizes multi-media.  Click here to download the powerpoint presentation.

Survey Gizmo

Survey gizmo is a website I used in order to perform a program evaluation of The Underground dance and drag show. The website allowed me to conveniently gather various types of data from student respondents who attended the program.  The site also calculated results based on the information received so that data was easy to read and interpret.  Click here to view the survey.
